We’ve been working with UTS: University of Technology Sydney to monitor the condition of Greater Sydney’s water pipes, using artificial intelligence to find hidden leaks, prevent burst water mains and save tens of millions of dollars. As part of this two-year trial, we’ve used high-tech acoustic listening devices to help us detect almost 200 hidden 💦 leaks, saving around 10,000 megalitres (or 1,800 Olympic-sized swimming pools) and $20 million worth of water.
